PROJECTIntroduction [Biosketch]
- Dr. Abhijeet Sethi is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Silchar. He is an Ex–DST INSPIRE Faculty Fellow of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and obtained his PhD from IIT Kharagpur, where his research focused on electrochemical micromachining (ECMM) of Nitinol shape memory alloys for precision and biomedical applications. His research interests span advanced manufacturing, micro/nano fabrication, electrochemical polishing of additively manufactured components, surface engineering, corrosion science, and smart materials machining. Dr. Sethi has published 17 research articles, along with multiple conference proceedings and a book chapter, and is currently serving as the Principal Investigator of a DST-sponsored research project worth ₹35 lakh.
