PROJECTIntroduction [Biosketch]
- Dr. Sushant Negi obtained his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Technical University in 2009. He completed his M.Tech. in 2011 and Ph.D. in 2016 from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur. He has previously served as a Lecturer at NIT Hamirpur and as a Project Scientist at the National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali. Dr. Negi joined the National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2019, where he is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has an extensive research background in the field of additive manufacturing, with over 76 publications (with 45 SCIE; 03 Scopus; 10 Book Chapters) in reputed international journals/conferences. In addition, he holds six granted patents and two published patents in the area of Mechanical Engineering. He aims to advance research into the development of damage-tolerant structures using additive manufacturing.
