SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Dr. Lintu Roy received his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering Silchar under Assam University Silchar in 1994, M.Tech. in Mechanical Systems Design from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2005, Post Graduate Diploma in Finance management (PGDFM) from IGNOU in 1999 and Ph.D in Mechanical Systems Design from IIT Guwahati in 2015. He has over 20 years of teaching and research experience and Joined as faculty in Mechanical Engineering in the National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2000. He has served NIT Silchar as Lecturer from 2000 to 2005, as Assistant Professor from 2005 till date. His area of specialization is in Mechanical Systems Design and focuses on computational analysis of journal bearings. His research group consists of undergraduate students, graduate students.
