SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Dr. Sushant Negi was born in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh in 1987, and completed his Higher Secondary from Him Academy Public School, Hamirpur in 2005. He has obtained his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Tech. University, Jalandhar in the year of 2009 and completed his M.Tech with specialization in CAD-CAM from NIT Hamirpur in 2011 and also acquired his Ph.D. from the same institute in the year of 2016. His area of specialization is Additive Manufacturing. Prior to joining at NIT Silchar, he has worked as Project Scientist at National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali on Govt. of India R&D project. Dr. Negi has also worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Hamirpur from 2017-2019. At present, he is working as an Assistant Professor Grade II in Mechanical Engineering Department, NIT Silchar.
