SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Dr. Sumitra Sharma received her Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from GBTU Lucknow in the year 2010, M.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur in the year 2015, and PhD in Dissimilar welding and Corrosion of Ni-based Superalloys from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur in the year 2018. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam, India. She has three years of research and one year of teaching experience in Mechanical Engineering. Her research area is Material Science, Welding and Corrosion of Superalloys, Heat Treatment of Metallic alloys, micro joining of materials etc. She has published 13 research papers in different International/National Journals and conferences.
